Have the hair washed, dried, and free of any lice treatments or heavy styling products beforehand. If it’s long, tie it back before you arrive — loose, free-hanging hair gives lice more opportunity to crawl across and transfer between heads on contact.

No — it’s entirely head lice product-free, using specialist equipment and hand-clearing rather than any chemical, dimethicone, or pesticide-based treatment.

Live, crawling lice are removed first using a specialist hoover. Controlled heated air — developed through university research — is then applied to dehydrate the eggs. Nit combs and nit picks are used at the end to remove them.

Our Glasgow clinic charges £120 for the first appointment and £80 for the second appointment.
